About the event
Join Chef Mike and learn to make pasta dough, shape it, cook it, and eat it. Use the tools of the trade, an extruder and a sheeter, to make machine-shaped noodles. And learn how to hand-shape smaller pasta like gnocchi and orecchiette. Grate your own cheese, melt butter, and eat up at the end of class! Class limited to 20 children.
Chef Michael Blake is one of Saratoga’s best known chefs. A former executive restaurant chef, Mike headed up the kitchen at Yaddo for six years and now has his own business, MBculinaryconcepts.com. He provides culinary consulting and instruction, and serves private clients in the Capital region. He is the father of two young sons, Jack and Henry, who help in the kitchen every chance they get.
